MAFFIOSO I actually do not have a bad thing to say about “Maffioso” (Yes, I’m choosing to ignore the fact that Kodak spelled ‘Mafioso’ wrong). While I wouldn’t say that he sounds Elton John-Esque, I think that the sweet melodies that he toys with makes the song listenable.ġ. Yes, Kodak Black, the same dude that said that he wanted to pee in a girl’s BO in “Round Roses” (Yo, what the f**k does that even mean?), puts up a sweet performance in “Don’t Leave Me.” Over a beat that boasts just as many trap vibes as romantic vibes, Kodak sings fearlessly and bigs up his lady for holding him down lyrically. DON’T LEAVE ME Kodak Black actually puts up a stomachable vocal performance in “Don’t Leave Me.” I also somewhat like how Kodak comes across as a dude that thinks that he’s slier than the Pink Panther (Someone who is barely coherent can’t be considered sly, right?).Ģ. I don’t feel that strongly about “Round The Roses.” I will say this, though: I f**k with the dark/booming trap beat that powers the song (Kudos to Murda Beatz) and a few punchlines that Kodak Black hits us with in his verses (The Dwight Howard line caught my attention). ROUND THE ROSES I guess “Round The Roses” is the third-best track on this EP… I also like the song’s flute-heavy beat.ĭid this dude just say that he is going to pee in her BO? (What in the entire f**k?)ģ. With that being said, I do like the tricky flows and reckless/carefree/random lyrics that he blesses us with. Not only does Kodak’s vocals sound wishy-washy, but he also bounces between sounding uninterested and hyped up in his verses. “Z Look Jamacian” is a low-quality track. Z LOOK JAMAICAN “Z Look Jamaican” had so much potential. Kodak Black returns with the very brief “Haitian Boy Kodak.”
